Raft rivulets are reverberating

Just beneath my ribs---

Of an autumn moon

Although everything's a mess,
roads dug up ubiquitously,
stadiums falling apart,
corruption drilling into Indian veins,
players refusing to attend the event,
and security in mayhem,
I still,
I still am sure...


The games will be a success!
